On 5th July 2018, a total of 9 people attended the first meeting to form the Committee Members of the establishment of this club.
On 15th July 2018, Setiawangsa Rangers Football Club in collaboration with the Setiawangsa Parliamentary Office organized a screening program for the 2018 World Cup final. A total of 1000 visitors were present to watch this match.
On 26th August 2018, Setiawangsa Rangers Football Club has held its General Meeting for the first time to form a Committee Member to lead this football club. A total of 10 people were involved in the beginning of the formation of this committee.
On 25th September 2018, Setiawangsa Rangers Football Club paid a courtesy call on the Hasanah Foundation to discuss activities to be carried out at Cruyff Court Setiawangsa.
On 9th October 2018, the Setiawangsa Rangers Football Club paid a courtesy call on the Setiawangsa Sports Complex to discuss the football program that will be organized in the future.
On 2nd October 2018, Setiawangsa Rangers Football Club was involved in the formation of a committee to implement the National Sports Day program in the Setiawangsa Area. The club plans to host a Football Clinic.
On 13th October 2018, Setiawangsa Rangers Football Club in collaboration with the AU5D Lembah Keramat Football Academy has organized a Football Clinic in conjunction with National Sports Day 2018.
On 11th November 2018, Setiawangsa Rangers Football Club organized Fit Malaysia @ Community in PPR Seri Semarak Area in collaboration with Setiawangsa Area Youth and Sports Office and Seri Semarak PPR Residents Association.
On 25th November 2018, Setiawangsa Rangers Football Club launched this team and introduced the Nik Nazmi Under 16 Cup Football Tournament which will be held for a month this December.
On 26th November 2018, Setiawangsa Rangers Football Club sent 6 participants to The Heroes of The Cruyff Court Course. This course teaches participants to become a coach to form HEROES and organize leadership courses and football tournaments at the grassroots level.
From 1st December 2018 to 22rd December 2018, the Football Club has managed this tournament which involves a total of 16 teams and a total of 400 players are involved in the tournament at the grassroots level. Felda United team have become champions after beating Hotspurs Air Panas Sports Club Team with a score of 2-0.
On 22th Decemver 2018, Setiawangsa Rangers Football Club has held a friendly match against the Superlawak FC team. Setiawangsa Rangers FC players are led by YB Nik Nazmi while Superlawak FC is led by Jep Sepahtu.
